By now you might have heard the rumors. They're true. It’s been a good run and like all good things, it must come to an end sometime.
We were commissioned by Mt. Pleasant-based DWG Engineering to improve their online presence and if there’s one thing we learned on this project, it’s that engineers are hilarious.
In keeping with the Halloween spirit, we thought we'd show off some work that was KILLED IN COLD BLOOD, never to see the light of day. (ok, so the work was "politely dismissed" but that doesn't sound very halloweeny). Have fun browsing the land of the dead. MUWAHAHAHA....
We have big news. After much internal discussion and with SLANT’s blessing, Will Bullock is stepping out to take on a new opportunity with our friends at Obviouslee Marketing as their new Creative Director.
SLANT announces sponsorship at the 2nd Annual Greenville Polo Classic
Nothing gets us more excited than things that we love all coming together at once. In the case of the Greenville Polo Classic event, that would be: fun, fancy pants, horses and a very worthy cause.
Unless you live under a rock (or maybe in a commune), you’ve probably heard that Apple just released iOS7. Annnd if you’ve already installed it, you’ve certainly noticed it looks more like a 3 year old’s toy than a modern OS. What you may not realize is that the hideous paint job of iOS7 is actually overshadowing what is a major improvement in user experience. So we thought this would be a good time to explain the difference between UX and UI design.
Congratulations to our founder & creative director Christopher Cecil on being installed to AAF Greenville’s 2013 Board. SLANT is thrilled to be involved with such a stellar organization. And when we say stellar, we’re not just blowing smoke. AAF Greenville was just recognized as Division Four Club Of The Year.
When asked to share a comment, Cecil said: "It's awesome to be surrounded by some truly inspirational people in the creative industry. I can't wait to get involved and learn. Plus, you know...free food and stuff."
